Whilst that is quite a complicated question, the relevant detail is that I have always been surrounded by wine.

My first family holiday was to Australia. A visit to a supplier of the new company my father had recently founded.

Fast forward 20 years, and I started working full time at Awin Barratt Siegel Wine Agencies (ABS); representing 80+ family run wineries form all over the wine producing world, selling to independent retailers, regional wholesalers and the supermarkets.

Fifteen years working in the business has provided me with an incredible knowledge base of not only wine, but all operations concerned with running a business that imports and distributes large volumes to a wide array of channels. From half pallets sourced from tiny growers, to bulk wine bottled (or canned) in market; I have overseen the operations and commercial aspects of it all.
